# FAQ & troubleshooting

**Is Audience Loop a campaign tool?** No. It's the decision and measurement layer above your channels — it decides and hands off, while your tools run the bids and sends.

**Do you run my ads or send my emails?** No. Those stay in your channel tools, agency, or team. Audience Loop owns the decision.

**How do credits work?** Every plan includes a monthly allotment; actions like enrichment (\~1), visitor reveal (\~2), and audience sync (\~50) draw from it. See [How credits work](/manage/overview-1/credits.md).

**Does anything go live without me?** No. Every external action is a draft until you approve it in Pulse.

**Is my data safe?** SOC 2 Type II, consent-aware, and never used to train public models. See [Privacy, security & compliance](/manage/privacy-security-compliance.md).

**Can I start free?** Yes — Free is $0 forever. See [Plans](/manage/overview-1/tiers.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.aloop.icustomer.ai/reference/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
