# Brainstorm or simulate

Sometimes you're not ready to act — you're thinking. Chat is a good place to do that too.

Brainstorm plays, audiences, angles, or messaging with the Harness, using everything it knows about your brand and market. When an idea takes shape, simulate it: model a target ("what would 200 demos in 60 days take?"), a budget split, or a scenario, and see the likely shape before you commit.

Nothing you brainstorm or simulate goes live on its own. When you're ready, turn it into a goal or a play — and only then, after your approval, does it run.
